Mike brings over 31 years of experience in State Government, where he has worked and gained invaluable experience in the tourism/travel/recreation industry.  Mike has managed numerous multi-million dollar projects for the state of Texas that have required the supervision of many contracted and subcontracted firms to successfully complete the projects. Additionally, Mike brings an extensive knowledge of sound fiscal policy, and has been entrusted to account for millions of dollars of public revenue. 

In conjunction with his work in his career through State Government, Mike also owns and operates a mid-sized cattle and ranching operation on his ranch near Kerrville, Texas. 

Mike received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Waylan Baptist University.
